Fundamental Fellowship by Jason G. Lutz

Fundamental Fellowship by Jason G. Lutz

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
‭‭(Acts‬ ‭2:42‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
Fellowship is fundamental.  Trust me I know and have used every excuse available to avoid coming into fellowship with other believers.  Let me be more specific, every excuse for not being in church on Sunday.  And I know how tough it can be in reality to make this regular commitment to fellowship with other believers.  This established, lets take a different approach as to why we should fellowship.
As we grow in our faith we certainly come to understand a sense of Duty here.  The Church is a Kingdom and God does want us coming together to worship, engage in ministry, and serve the broken.  All this is tough to do alone.  And yet, there is something more to it.  The Scriptures reveal a Richness that comes through fellowship and it is a Gift that God wants to give us.
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭18:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
‭(‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
““Gather My saints together to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.””
(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭50:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Grace be with you,

Jason
