Pastor Don is a native of West Virginia and has served most of his life in the West Virginia Baptist Convention Family. He has served churches in the Fairmont, Grafton, and New Martinsville areas. He began an engineering degree (BS) and worked his way through college attending the community college in Parkersburg (WVUP today) and then transferred to Alderson-Broaddus College (ABU today) to complete a BA in Christian Studies. He received his M.Div. from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio while serving as the pastor of an Ohio Baptist Convention Church in Mt Gilead, Ohio.
He enjoys music, singing, auto mechanics, walking, gardening, spending time with family and friends. He is married to his college sweetheart and best friend in 1988. They are the parents of four children (two teenagers still living at home). He has been serving the Lord as a local church pastor since 1985 and has a passion to teach God’s Word and inspire passion in followers of Jesus Christ.
