Prayer by Jason G. Lutz

This morning through Thursday morning is 24 Hours of Prayer for Emmanuel Baptist Church.  I ask that each of you take time during the next 24 hours to pray that the Spirit guides and that the Spirit challenges at Emmanuel Baptist.  I ask that whether you attend with us or elsewhere that you pray for our Church.  Here are a few thoughts for the next 24 hours drawn from Scripture:

Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.”
‭‭(Mark‬ ‭1:35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
Please place some type of priority on praying alone.  I love praying in fellowship with other believers, but praying alone with the Father can be a fearful yet illuminating thing.
praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,
‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭6:18-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
Please pray that our pastors and teachers speak boldly.  Please pray that the same speak nothing other than the Gospel.
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
‭‭(Mark‬ ‭11:24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
Please pray specifically.  Please pray that the Father will provide the money necessary to fund profound ministry.  Please pray that the Father will raise a church full of the willing, the willing to teach and to mentor and to disciple.  Please pray that we will always welcome children and teach them the Glory of God.
Grace be with you,

Jason
